As an MA, you will also get to actively participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices.</p> <p>Exceptional Skills and Qualifications</p> <p>HATS is a specialty geriatrics clinic that sees patients over the age of 65 for memory loss, mood changes, and mobility issues.</p> <ul> <li>Graduate/certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program OR a High School Diploma/GED + one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years. </li><li>Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire </li><li>Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of supplies </li><li>Room patients and manage an efficient flow of provider's caseload </li><li>Documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system </li><li>Serve both front and back offices capacities - check in/out, vitals, scheduling follow ups </li><li>Manage inbasket and phones </li><li>Support completing the review of systems and cognitive testing of patients </li><li>Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff </li></ul> <p>Why Community?</p> <p>At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication and collaboration.
