<p>We are looking for a caring, energetic, Jesus-loving, qualified teacher in our transitional twos class!</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Building relationships with up to 14 students and their families </li><li>Annual parent/teacher conferences (additional parent/teacher conferences as needed). </li><li>Assigning tasks, overseeing, and mentoring assistant teachers and part time staff in his or her classroom </li><li>Developing a comprehensive knowledge of state regulations, Paths to Quality requirements, and Conscious Discipline </li><li>Attending all required staff in-service meetings and workshops </li><li>Participating in 20 hours of training per year </li><li>Creating weekly lesson plans based on a theme chosen by the teacher using our provided lesson plan template </li><li>Preparing all learning centers and supplies to implement weekly lesson plans </li><li>Maintaining 10 learning centers with materials for children to explore during free play and center time. These include: reading, writing, math, science, dramatic play, art, sensory, blocks, fine motor, and music. </li><li>Implementing lesson plans </li><li>Teaching children developmentally appropriate skills (cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual) </li><li>Managing classroom through Conscious Discipline and establishing routines and expectations </li><li>Greeting each child and family upon arrival and connect at dismissal </li><li>Interacting with all children throughout the day during each activity </li><li>Communicating with parents on a regular basis </li><li>Having a constant awareness of how many children are in the room and maintaining ratios </li><li>Facilitating mealtimes - serving food, demonstrating manners, filling out appropriate documentation, assisting children with clean up </li><li>Assisting children with diapering and/or toileting and hand washing </li><li>Cleaning and sanitizing tables, changing tables, and toys </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Paid Holidays </li><li>Reimbursement for classroom supplies </li><li>Reimbursement for health insurance through the marketplace </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Pension plan </li><li>Attendance incentives </li><li>Birthday and work anniversary gifts </li><li>Meals provided throughout the work day </li><li>No nights or weekends </li><li>Participation in the T.E.A.C.H. scholarship to cover tuition for a CDA, associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree </li><li>Discounted childcare </li><li>Professional development onsite </li><li>Opportunities for advancement </li><li>Paid training </li><li>Team building activities </li><li>Positive team culture </li><li>Comfortable teacher's lounge </li><li>CPR and First Aid training provided </li></ul>
