Everyone at Prysmian has the potential to make their mark; because whatever you do, wherever you are based, you will be part of a company that is helping transform the world around us.</p> <p>Make Your Mark at Prysmian Group - Join Us</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Reporting to the High Voltage Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Finished Goods Specialist is responsible for managing the processes of high voltage cable from the time it is transferred to finished goods until it is loaded on the final truck to the customer or install site. In this position you will communicate with logistics, drivers, production, and project managers to ensure safe, effective, and timely inventory management. This position will maintain physical and administrative updates ensuring the project and regular inventory is recorded.</p> <p>Job Objectives:</p> <ul> <li>Develop schedules for inventory movement and recording structure from finished goods to storage </li><li>Manage all shipping of HV assets to various locations </li><li>Maintain all movements in SAP system for accuracy </li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external vendors </li><li>Manage regular and transparent communications for internal and external customers </li><li>Maintain on time delivery targets and assist in setting goals and expectations </li><li>Manage physical inventory locations for all finish good high voltage assets </li><li>Review open sales orders and plan Distribution Center cuts and shipments based on product availability and customer request dates. </li><li>Prioritize schedule with shipping and communicate directly with the sales office, supply chain and manufacturing, any change in schedule or any manufacturing problem that will affect delivery. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2 or more years of supply chain, warehousing, or distribution experience, or related field. </li><li>Experience with ERP systems (experience with SAP Cable Solutions wire and cable industry module a definite plus). </li><li>Practical working knowledge of applicable Department of Transportation regulations </li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Proficient user of Microsoft Excel. </li><li>Ability to motivate Co-workers to accomplish tasks and goals </li><li>Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize duties to meet deadlines daily with limited supervision. </li><li>Willingness to work varying hours (evenings and weekends) depending on requirements. </li></ul> <p>Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
