<p>Req Id: 18094</p> <p>Job Title: Student - Campus Ambassador, Admissions & Recruitment</p> <p>City: Westville</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>This position is on the Westville Campus.</p> <p>Campus Ambassadors are essential to the success of Purdue University Northwest. Students selected for this position will promote the university and build relationships with prospective and current students and families, faculty, staff and community leaders.</p> <p>PNW Pathfinders you will develop leadership and organizational skills, while gaining experience in public speaking and assisting the Office of Admission with campus events. This position will also increase your knowledge of the campus from a historical and factual perspective.</p> <p>Specific Duties</p> <ul> <li>Represent Purdue University Northwest in a positive and professional manner </li><li>Greet visitors with a smile and a positive attitude </li><li>Conduct campus tours </li><li>Connect students with resources that will add to their college experience </li><li>Have extensive knowledge of Purdue Northwest as an institution </li><li>Address needs and interact positively with new and prospective students and guests. </li><li>Establish positive relationships and build rapport with visitors, large groups, and new students on campus. </li><li>Participate in ongoing training and team building activities including Admission events </li><li>Assist staff with individual projects and special events which may include, but is not limited to, outgoing phone calls, student panel discussions, and general office duties </li><li>Support various university departments and staff with reaching their goals </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <p>Must be a currently enrolled PNW Student</p> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Must be a PNW for at least one semester </li><li>Must be willing to occasionally work events or tours outside of business hours </li><li>Must have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 </li><li>Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills and an enthusiasm for Purdue University Northwest </li><li>Must be able to work with diverse populations showcasing ability to work independently as well as in a team setting </li></ul> <p>FLSA Status</p> <p>Non-Exempt</p> <p>Apply now</p> <p>Posting Start Date: 2/2/22</p>
