Backup role to the Senior Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Shipping/Receiving department focusing on being point of contact for all export shipments and responsible for all booking procedures. Point of Contact for all shipping "documentation" issues</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.</p> <ul> <li>Complete with accuracy all Brazil export documents to ensure freight is delivered in a timely manner </li><li>prepare export documents for international shipments </li><li>Fill-in as needed on the shop floor (UPS, truck, receiving, packaging operations with a primary role at truck station) </li><li>Resolve any held-up international shipments </li><li>Provide proof of deliveries (POD's) when required </li><li>Assist in managing record retention to remain compliant to SOX certification </li><li>Act as point of contact to all freight forwarders with international/domestic shipments when required </li><li>Book shipments on-line as required </li><li>Operate fork-lift when required </li></ul> <p>Background & Skills</p> <p>At Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
