The role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety. Under the supervision of the Scheduling Supervisor, prepares participant charts for new participants and other program needs. Sends for and released medical information, compiles interdisciplinary assessment and treatments summaries, files, copies, and faxes medical information.</p> <p>General Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Scheduling outside medical appointments for participants, keeping an organized clinic calendar and daily agenda </li><li>Organizing daily clinic schedule in collaboration with clinic staff. </li><li>Coordinates with IDT and clinic staff for scheduling unplanned sick visits. </li><li>Answers phone in a timely and polite manner </li><li>Act only with the scope of authority to practice. </li><li>Follow all Beacon of LIFE Policies and Procedures and OSHA safety guidelines. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly. </li><li>Minimum 1 year of medical scheduling </li><li>Computer literacy </li><li>Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with participants and family members </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
