Join a dynamic team dedicated to excellence, offering a direct-hire position with great benefits and a supportive work environment.</p> <p>Pay: $20 - $25+/hour + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid after 30 days)</p> <p>1st Shift Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM</p> <p>As a CNC Operator, you'll be responsible for performing machining operations on a variety of parts, involving multiple machining or cutting processes.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Select and install tooling based on specifications and operational requirements. </li><li>Set up and prepare machines for operation using blueprints, process plans, program sheets, and fixture location diagrams. </li><li>Operate standard machine tools including drill presses, hand tools, and other power tools. </li><li>Load and unload parts into the machine. </li><li>Run jobs and obtain first-piece approval. </li><li>Perform other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree or certification from a technical school, or 3 years of CNC lathe/mill experience. </li><li>Knowledge of G&M code; HAAS or DOOSAN experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and convert between metric and English units. </li><li>GD&T knowledge a plus. </li><li>Compliance with safety procedures and ability to perform additional tasks. </li><li>Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks for 8-10 hour shifts. </li><li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. </li><li>Must work in a manufacturing environment with PPE, exposure to machinery, cranes, and forklift traffic. </li></ul> <p>Company Offered Employee Benefits: Wabtec offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, a uniform allowance, and more!</p> <p>Ready to take the next step in your career?
