<p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that all HPSI safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met </li><li>Supervise Logistics Coordinators and all administrative activity </li><li>SAP Super user for the WMS </li><li>Communicate and coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure all data is ready for incorporation to the SAP WMS upon shipment arrival </li><li>Provide feedback to the Supply Chain Manager and Material Control Manager regarding any enhancements or Configuration that are required to improve the SAP WMS </li><li>Responsible for retrieving and analyzing data from the SAP WMS in order to prepare reports for various stakeholders in the company regarding material statuses including, but not limited to: receiving performance/goods issue performance/inventory status/cycle counting process/shelf life control/floor stock inventory management/replenishment/etc. </li><li>Develop weekly/biweekly project status reports and provide findings to stakeholders </li><li>Ensure Material Control department is processing shipments correctly into the SAP WMS, and identify and correct any issues </li><li>Assist with data entry of material receipts and transfers into the SAP WMS system </li><li>Functions as the SAP WMS helpdesk - Resolve any issues with the SAP WMS scanners or questions from Material Control Personnel. Seek help from other departments or vendors in order to keep the SAP WMS system running properly </li><li>In-house Information Technology support </li><li>Create/implement functional forms documents </li><li>Develop and maintain positive relationships with key players in HPSI's Supply Chain process to ensure goals are met </li><li>Controls SAP WMS related Quality Documents </li><li>Complete all assignments as required </li><li>Perform other related duties as required and assigned </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES</p> <ul> <li>Able to communication effectively with all levels of the organization </li><li>Decision making/problem solving </li><li>Adaptability and organizational skills and understanding </li><li>Integrity </li><li>Conflict resolution </li><li>Strategic thinking </li><li>Stress management </li><li>Leadership qualities </li><li>Persistent nature </li><li>Willingness and ability to work as a team member </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTY</p> <p>This position has supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>BS/BA in Business/Communication preferred </li><li>Minimum of three (3) years' experience in material control, logistics, or similar supply chain field </li><li>Previous experience with SAP WMS required </li><li>Knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 a plus </li><li>Knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics processes required </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft software applications such as Word, Excel </li><li>Familiar with Access, Power Point </li><li>Ability for good record-keeping </li><li>Ability to arrange and conduct meetings </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be carried on indoors or outdoors, and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.</p> <ul> <li>Hanwha Philly Shipyard is a TOBACCO FREE facility. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A range of motion sufficient to perform general lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, climbing, working at heights, extended walking or standing, etc. is required.
