<p>RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Operating Room at the Morris Cancer Center on the New Brunswick campus,</p> <p>Position Summary: The OR Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the surgical setting, working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals,</p> <p>This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to improving surgical outcomes for oncology patients,</p> <p>Schedule: 40 Hours per week, evening shift 11:00a-7:30p,</p> <p>Weekends, Holidays, and on-call requirements as assigned</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room,</p> <p>Assess, plan, and implement patient care before, during, and after surgery,</p> <p>Assist surgical teams by providing necessary instruments and supplies,</p> <p>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care,</p> <p>Adhere to hospital policies and best practices in perioperative nursing,</p> <p>Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records,</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Current RN license in the state of New Jersey,</p> <p>Minimum of 1 year OR experience, or recent graduate of a Periop 101 program</p> <p>CNOR certification preferred but not required,</p> <p>BLS and ACLS certification required,</p> <p>Strong communication and organizational skills,</p> <p>Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure surgical environment,</p> <p>RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
