In addition, the UA will work in a team environment to meet service priorities and due dates, while providing reports, data, and other needed information to the management team.</p> <p>This is a hybrid opportunity, 2-3 days onsite at the Conshohocken, PA Home Office</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate accounts to determine initial acceptability within the underwriting appetite. </li><li>Review submissions for completeness and accuracy; make requests for information. </li><li>Bind and issue policies in accordance with stated underwriting authority. </li><li>Support a book of new and renewal business, consisting of various accounts to achieve written premium and loss ratio objectives. </li><li>Provide reports to management as needed and requested. </li><li>Attend client meetings. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred, Risk Management & Insurance majors a plus. </li><li>Minimum 1-3 years of commercial lines insurance experience preferred, but not required. </li><li>Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Ability to service and maintain strong relationships with agents and UW's. </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines. </li><li>Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates teamwork capabilities. </li><li>Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications. </li></ul>
