<p>Description & Requirements</p> <p>Bloomberg News is looking for a versatile editor in New York to join its credit team. You are responsible for covering every stage of leveraged loan, high-yield and investment-grade bond sales, from initial pricing to final terms, as well as editing unique real-time analysis of those deals that provide outstanding data for fixed-income professionals.</p> <p>You'll be joining at an exciting time as companies navigate volatile markets, making it more challenging to refinance debt and to fund leveraged buyouts. You will be required to help maintain our new issue trackers, have a good eye for detail and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure within a fast paced newsroom.</p> <p>When not on meeting targets, you will need to be cultivating story ideas with reporters and driving impactful stories that resonate with terminal and web readers.</p> <p>We'll trust you to:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a culture of urgency, innovation and strong news judgement </li><li>Demonstrate level-headedness in a fast-paced, dynamic news environment </li><li>Be detailed-oriented with an ability to edit quickly, accurately and clearly under deadline pressure </li><li>Build influential relationships across the newsroom to get things done and ensure our coverage is packaged well across platforms </li><li>Promote diversity of thought and representation throughout our coverage </li></ul> <p>You'll need to have:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in financial journalism or credit </li><li>A record of mentoring, coaching and advocating for reporters and their work </li><li>Experience in motivating reporters to break news </li><li>A strong work ethic, solid interpersonal and time management skills </li></ul> <p>Salary Range = 80000 - 95000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus</p> <p>The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
