As a part of the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus team, you will have numerous opportunities to explore educational development courses, advance the Professional Ladder and utilize comprehensive benefits that invest in your health and overall well-being.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works nights + on-call requirements, 11:00PM - 7:30AM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Receive and accession specimens into the LIS (Lab Information System).</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare specimens for analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform manual processing (centrifuge, aliquoting, and routine maintenance), problem-solving functions and issue resolution.</p> </li><li> <p>Assume compliance with basic regulations (temperature monitoring).</p> </li><li> <p>Perform QA activities (pending log audit).</p> </li><li> <p>Retrieve, sort, track and deliver specimens and verify receipts in the lab.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform basic clerical functions (i.e., answer phones).</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED</p> </li><li> <p>One year of lab experience OR Associate's Degree</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree, preferably in a science related field </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
