As part of this community, the Facilities Division designs, constructs and maintains a dynamic, safe, and sustainable campus to continually advance its nationally benchmarked living and learning community.</p> <p>WCU proudly offers a positive and purposeful work environment and a University mission to support employee personal and professional growth including training and development and advancement opportunities.</p> <p>This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of campus by vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors, cleaning carpets; emptying waste containers; cleaning restrooms, shower rooms, classrooms, offices, elevators, studies, hallways, stairwells, steps and lobbies; replacing light bulbs and fluorescent tubes; and removing snow and ice in all doorways, including walks leading to buildings.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is professional, punctual, has an eye for detail and can follow instructions through proper communication while working with little supervision.</p> <p>The Facilities team values effort and pride in a job well done. Experience with various cleaning techniques, supplies and machines is helpful but not required.
