External applicants must be eligible to work in the US.</p> <p>Sign-on bonus of $5,000 if hired for this position (paid out after 30 days of employment)</p> <p>Your Role:</p> <p>The Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for supporting the site, supervisor, and leadership team in timely execution of preventive maintenance, proactive and reactive workorders, creating documentation records in physical and virtual forms.</p> <p>This role requires you to independently work in a safe manner to documented quality requirements, to ensure continuity and safe working of the site operations. You will work with other senior technicians to improve your understanding of site operations and site specific equipment and related systems.</p> <ul> <li>This position has the authority to perform maintenance activities to process equipment and all plant HVAC systems. </li><li>Performs a variety of equipment installation, maintenance, and repair work on assigned plant production equipment, buildings, facilities, and grounds. </li><li>Maintains and performs preventative maintenance or repair work on plant production equipment. </li><li>Performs carpentry, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, painting, and mechanical work on equipment, buildings, and facilities as needed. </li><li>Follows Good Documentation Practices (GDP). </li><li>Follows all related ISO procedures and work instructions. </li><li>Maintains required records, logs, and other data associated with equipment repair and maintenance. </li><li>Completes all documentation required to fulfill tasks and duties. </li><li>Organizes and maintains a clean and orderly work area in accordance with the administrative General Housekeeping practices/procedures. </li><li>Responsible for following general personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements as established by company policy. </li><li>Performs all functions in a safe and timely manner in accordance with OSHA standards and general rules and regulations governing the workplace. </li><li>Work regulated environments such as OSHA PSM, RCRA, Title 5 to maintain compliance to standards. </li><li>Installation and repairs of basic electrical systems in accordance to recognized standards. </li><li>Accurately complete necessary/required permitting specific to work being done in accordance to site procedures/policies. </li><li>Seeks guidance from supervisor as needed to ensure the above. </li><li>Attends, and is punctual for, appropriate meetings and training in-services. </li><li>Weekly four, ten hour shifts and participates in a rotating on call schedule as needed. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li><li>Travel Requirements - <10% </li></ul> <p>Physical Attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>4+ years of experience working in mechanical fields. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>HVAC Tradesman certification/experience </li></ul> <p>What we offer: We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
