(Recovery to Inspire, Share and Empower).</p> <ul> <li>Advise the Collegiate Recovery Community R.I.S.E. </li><li>Facilitate Collegiate Recovery meetings </li><li>Assist with meeting the goals of harm reduction and recovery </li><li>Assist with the promotion of National Recovery Month </li><li>Update educational and promotional materials for the Collegiate Recovery Community </li><li>Assist with the expansion of the Collegiate Recovery Community through promotional materials, visuals and a social media campaign </li><li>Maintain regular office hours </li><li>Attend weekly supervision meetings </li><li>Fulfill other assigned duties </li><li>Requires 20 hours per week while school is in session. Some evening and weekend work required. Must be available to participate in staff orientation and training during the week prior to the opening of the fall semester. Must be available to assist in Opening weekend activities, and other after-hours activities as needed. </li><li>Participation in Counseling and Psychological Services, Division of Student Affairs, University and professional activities is encouraged. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in related field </li><li>Acceptance into an Ohio University graduate program </li><li>Experience working in health & well-being related field </li><li>Must maintain a 3.0 GPA </li><li>Knowledge and experience in advising students </li><li>Strong communication and team management skills </li><li>Sound judgment, leadership and experience in conflict management </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in health, wellness, or life coaching supervision or management </li><li>Strong experience with program planning and/or event management </li><li>Experience planning and presenting to diverse audiences </li><li>Experience with project management </li></ul> <p>Department VP For Student Affairs Pay Rate</p> <p>$13,500 annual stipend for 20 hours of work per week or 300 hours per semester</p> <p>Posting Open Date 04/08/2025 Posting End Date 05/09/2025 Job Category Student Hourly Planning Unit Vice President for Student Affairs Work Schedule Campus Athens Applicants may contact this person if they have questions about this position.
