Serves Physical Therapy Patients by reviewing physical therapist interpretations of patient evaluations and test results; interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; recommending options and courses of action to physical therapists; giving normal growth and development information; promoting wellness and health maintenance.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Observe patients during treatments to compile and evaluate data on their responses and progress and provide results to physical therapist in person or through progress notes.</p> <ul> <li>Fit patients for orthopedic braces, prostheses, or supportive devices, such as crutches as needed per site. </li><li>Instructs patients and their families in appropriate exercise program and in use of equipment. </li><li>Clean work area and check and store equipment after treatment. </li><li>Confer with physical therapy staff or others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, or coordinating treatment. </li><li>Document treatments and notes as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Associate's Degree Physical Therapy Assistant required</p> <p>Licenses and Credentials</p> <p>Physical Therapist Assistant [State License]</p> <p>Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>Experience completing internship or apprenticeship program preferred</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. </li><li>Teaching others how to do something. </li><li>Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. </li><li>Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. </li><li>Managing one's own time and the time of others. </li><li>Actively looking for ways to help people. </li></ul> <p>Additional Job Details (if applicable)</p> <p>Remote Type</p> <p>Hybrid</p> <p>Work Location</p> <p>152 Conant Street</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours</p> <p>40</p> <p>Employee Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>EEO Statement:</p> <p>Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
