<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Prepares and cooks meals for customers by performing the following duties:</p> <p>DIRECTLY SUPERVISES: None</p> <p>KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Assists with daily preparations and preparation lists on daily basis. </li><li>Cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served. </li><li>Prepares produce for service. </li><li>Cuts meat. </li><li>Follows prescribed sanitary safeguards in handling all food and cleaning all surfaces. </li><li>Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.</p> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:</p> <p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</p> <p>REASONING ABILITY:</p> <p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
