More Driven.</p> <p>Position Description</p> <p>The FP&A Manager will partner with members of the Procurement Directs (raw materials) Leadership Team to provide meaningful financial analysis to support business decisions, drive financial results/business strategies, partner on the development of savings initiatives/headwinds tracking, and ensure proper management controls are maintained. This position will execute monthly processes (including monthly operating reviews with Procurement Leadership SBU (strategic business unit). You are also responsible to drive financial business analysis and estimating as part of the Monthly and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Process. Driving systems for overall process improvements is highly desired.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Partner with members of Procurement Directs Team to support sound, data-driven decisions and ensure proper tracking of results. </li><li>Manage monthly forecast and reporting process. Understand and have an ability to communicate the financial results to measure progress against objectives. This includes annual budgeting and alignment across Procurement, Regional, and Functional teams to achieve company goals. </li><li>Be an integral part of the Directs Team to drive processes to achieve company goals. </li><li>Manage the headwinds and savings procedures, in partnership with the Procurement Organization (Directs and Business Process). </li><li>Lead and participate in other ad-hoc projects supporting process improvements with financial analysis and reporting. </li></ul> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Purchasing </li><li>8 or more years of experience in Operational Finance, Plant Controlling, Cost Analysis and/or Supply Chain/Material Management </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills (including effective presentation skills) </li><li>Strong analytical and technical skills </li><li>Knowledge of Finance Planning/Analysis, SAP, Hyperion and Essbase </li><li>Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Understanding of manufacturing environment and management </li></ul> <p>#LI-BM1</p> <p>About The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company</p> <p>Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
