<p>Description</p> <p>ALCIVIA is growing and looking to add Seasonal CDL Drivers during the Spring/Early Summer Season at our Union Grove, WI location. Learn more at https://www.alcivia.com/</p> <ul> <li>Company Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXksxCuX2Ak </li><li>Visit our Company Social Media Accounts: Facebook and LinkedIn. </li></ul> <p>Seasonal CDL Driver, Class A CDL - Essential Responsibilities:</p> <p>We are looking for a Seasonal CDL Driver to safely operate a semi-truck and efficiently deliver uncontaminated loads of seed, fertilizer, grain, and other farming related products. Most routes will be within a 45-60 minute drive from your assigned work location. We are proud to say many of our drivers have been with us for decades and many of our Seasonal Drivers return for future Seasonal help or have lead into full-time employment opportunities.</p> <ul> <li>Daily on-time pickup and delivery of product and commodities </li><li>Perform required pre-trip daily vehicle inspections and maintenance </li><li>Maintain and care for delivery trucks ensuring regular preventative maintenance </li><li>Maintain load delivery records and verify correct loading/unloading </li><li>Thoroughly clean out truck in between certain product changes </li><li>Ensure load restraints are properly placed to prevent damage to materials </li><li>Keep cab and cargo doors locked when not in use </li><li>Never use cell phones or other handheld devices while driving </li><li>Drive defensively, slowly, and safely at all times </li><li>Support cross-divisional collaboration whenever possible </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Seasonal CDL Driver, Class A CDL - Required Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED </li><li>Class A CDL is required </li><li>Clean driving record is required </li><li>Must be cleared to operate a manual CDL truck. </li><li>Tanker and/or Hazmat Endorsement is preferred </li><li>Previous CDL Class A delivery experience is preferred </li><li>Some computer and technology skills </li><li>Good written and verbal and communication </li><li>Self-directed and focuses on taking action </li><li>Ability to identify objectives and recommend the best solutions </li><li>Accept responsibility while maintaining integrity </li><li>Remain persistence and recover quickly from setbacks </li><li>Strong organization and time management </li><li>Excellent customer service </li><li>Positive attitude and approach to problem solving </li><li>Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time </li><li>Occasionally must lift up to 75 pounds </li><li>Work in outdoor conditions </li><li>Drive safely in varying weather conditions </li><li>Safety first mindset </li></ul> <p>Find your place in a positive, supportive atmosphere where opportunity is always growing, with a team that believes in its mission.
