<p>Description</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Provides·residents/guests with prompt, courteous service and general information while conveying a friendly, confident,. positive attitude at all times. Responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of event and activity registration in person and by telephone. Customer Service Associates distribute Association information, in-house program promotion, program participant check-in and act as ambassadors for the community. Each Customer Service Associate ensures that all programs and services are conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of SCCAH, The Administration and Fitness Departments and the Management Company.</p> <p>GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Customer Service </li></ul> <p>o Provides outstanding customer service to residents, owns the responsibilities of the position, and takes initiative in problem solving in a manner that improves relationships internally and externally.</p> <p>o Retrieves voicemail messages. Answers questions on programs and activity services. Directs telephone inquiries to appropriate departments.</p> <p>o Maintains confidence of the Association and residents with regard to internal policies and procedures and confidential member billing and accounts. ·</p> <ul> <li>Activity and Event Registration </li></ul> <p>o Is responsible for all aspects of program reservations including registering, updating, adjusting, canceling, refunding, voiding and correcting information as necessary or instructed, waiting lists, accurately checks-in and provides/prints rosters for events/day trips with itineraries.</p> <p>o Provides accurate information to residents at all times.</p> <p>o Has knowledge of registration information and payment inquiries for when resident misplaces receipts.</p> <p>o Makes program/activity reservation confirmation calls as necessary.</p> <ul> <li>Monetary Responsibilities </li></ul> <p>o Is responsible for all aspects of a cash drawer and Point of Sale system, including collecting and tracking monies for registration and retail point of sale, providing receipts to customers, having general knowledge of cash reporting procedures, opening and closing shift responsibilities, and reconciling and reporting.</p> <ul> <li>General Office </li></ul> <p>o Consistently demonstrates proficiency and accuracy and is able to perform daily functions using Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet search, shared files, and email,· as well as other office equipment,·including but not limited to printers, scanners, phones.</p> <p>Responsible for checking email frequently for updates and information on a timely basis.</p> <ul> <li>Assists with assigned administrative duties as directed. Correctly completes </li></ul> <p>assignments and tasks in a timely manner in spite of interruptions and distractions.</p> <ul> <li>Performs with detailed accuracy and high customer service, clerical duties </li></ul> <p>including but not limited to phone, faxing, word processing, creation and photocopying of office materials.</p> <ul> <li>Maintains activity desk information forms ·as needed-flyers, refund forms, handouts, brochures, room reservation forms, etc. </li><li>Shifts </li><li>Must be able to work average minimum of -22 hours/week, extended hours including weekends, evenings and holidays as necessary, and rotate locations as required by the position and/or demands of the association. </li><li>Maintains a professional appearance required/uniform as business casual with logo shirt/jacket at all times and name badge. </li><li>Possess the ability to work independently without supervision and carry out tasks to completion with detailed accuracy. </li><li>Must possess mobility and be required to lift items weighing as much as 20 pounds. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education/Training:</p> <p>High School graduate or equivalent.</p> <p>Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:</p> <p>Two to three years previous experience in a retail business or cash-handling environment</p> <p>What We Offer:</p> <p>As a full-time exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and vision.
