They keep us moving forward, which is why we consider each one to be a valued part of the Dearing family.</p> <p>Job Summary: Lays out, fits, and welds fabricated components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames by performing the following duties:</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings </li><li>Lays out, burn, cope, positions, aligns, and fits components together </li><li>Clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding </li><li>Sets up equipment and welds parts using flux cored arc welding equipment. </li><li>Operates grinder, saw, and other hand tools to complete assignments </li><li>Assembles parts by bolting and welding </li><li>Operates overhead cranes to move large steel material </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>One year certificate from college or technical school or related experience and training </li><li>Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals </li><li>Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment </li><li>2 - 5 years of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment </li><li>Ability to pass a weld test </li><li>Ability to read blue prints and use simple math skills </li><li>Ability to read and interpret a tape measure </li><li>Ability to pass a drug test </li></ul> <p>Dearing's benefits program includes:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance </li><li>Short and Long-Term Disability insurance </li><li>Company Paid Life Insurance </li><li>9 Paid Holidays </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>401K Retirement Plan - 4% Match </li><li>Competitive Salary </li></ul>
