<p>Req Id: 34701</p> <p>Job Title: Curriculum Developer, Senior</p> <p>City: West Lafayette</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Mitch Daniels School of Business seeks a seasoned professional who is accomplished, flexible, energetic and professional teammate to support curriculum development for the undergraduate and executive levels. The candidate will design and deliver professional development around teaching, collaborate with faculty to design and develop new programs (majors, minors, etc.) at the undergraduate level, as well as customized and non-degree programs for executives across multiple industries. Programs and courses will be delivered to learners on our West Lafayette or Indianapolis locations, virtually, or at a location chosen by a corporate client.</p> <p>As the Curriculum Developer you will provide instructional design expertise to design and develop customized, non-degree programs for Executive Education, undergraduate curriculum (majors, minors, concentrations, and certificates), courses, and teaching professional development offerings. Help to facilitate faculty-led teaching initiatives within the Mitch Daniels School of Business. Work collaboratively with faculty and staff to develop and disseminate innovative and evidence-based practices on teaching and learning.</p> <p>Mitch Daniels School of Business: The Mitch Daniels School of Business aspires to take a top 25 program and transform it into a top 10 program that competes for the best students in the country. The key components of this transformation are:</p> <ul> <li>Curriculum Innovation. A systematic process for creating new degree programs that leverage the unique strengths of Purdue and the School of Business; engaging in continuous quality improvement and curricular review via internal and external program reviews for existing programs; developing and implementing professional development programs and strengthening the integrated management core. </li><li>Integrated Learning Ecosystem. Programs that enhance learning outcomes by improving faculty course design and classroom presence; expanding custom executive-in-residence programs; developing peer mentoring and exploring and adopting advanced learning technologies to support innovative teaching efforts; </li><li>Transformational Experiences. Supporting faculty to develop and grow undergraduate research, study abroad, and case competitions while significantly expanding experiential learning via internal programs and corporate engagement. </li></ul> <p>A cover letter is required to be fully considered</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>Qualified candidates will need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communication or STEM-related fields is required. </li><li>4 years of experience in higher education which includes at least 1 year of experience in program development within an instructional design context (can include graduate work) and between 1-2 years of direct experience working one on one with faculty, instructors, or subject matter experts to design, develop, and support delivery of instruction (can include graduate work). </li></ul> <p>Skills Needed:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with course design, including face-to-face, hybrid and online environments (can include graduate work). </li><li>Expertise in applying learning theory and pedagogy to develop instructional design strategies. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate degree </li><li>Experience working in industry or experience working with executives </li><li>Experience applying universal design principles for learning and accessibility </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>To learn more about Purdue's benefits summary?CLICK HERE </li><li>Purdue will not sponsor employment authorization for this?position </li><li>A background check will be required for employment in this position </li><li>FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible?For?Overtime) </li><li>Retirement Eligibility:?
