<p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>80% FTE, 32 hours per week, Monday- Friday. Department is open from 5:00am to 8:30pm. Shift times will mostly be 9:00am - 5:30pm. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.</p> <p>Pay:</p> <p>UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.</p> <p>External hires may be eligible for a $2,400 sign on bonus (pro-rated on FTE).</p> <p>Be a part of the REMARKABLE team where we consistently earn top honors for patient care and continually look for new and innovative ways to provide patient and family-centered care.</p> <p>We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with Nursing Supervisors, assist with patient placement needs of ICU, IMC, general care, or outpatient placement. Communicate with units and ancillary staff. </li><li>Settle surgical/post-anesthesia patients, obtain vitals, reposition patients, set up suction, assist with airway, empty drains, empty foleys - per RN request, assist with normoglycemia protocol. </li><li>Assist with activities of daily living, patient transport, intentional rounding, stocking, and ordering equipment. </li><li>Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and their family members to establish a trusting relationship to provide high quality care. </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent and Graduate of State of Wisconsin approved Nurse Aid Training Program.</p> <p>Work Experience:</p> <p>Preferred - One (1) year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant</p> <p>Licenses and Certifications:</p> <p>Minimum - Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry, CPR certification required within three months of hire</p> <p>Preferred - CPR Certification</p> <p>Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion</p> <p>UW Health is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
