The Project Management function manages a BU project or program to successful outcome. This role is responsible for aligning resources, overseeing the budget, creating project plans and tracking key milestones/risks/dependencies. This is the key coordinator to ensure activities are completed</p> <p>Work Model: Hybrid</p> <p>Major Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Create Project Management documentation: Project Plan, Stakeholder Analysis, Issues Log, & Project Governance </li><li>Understand business requirements, current/future state process flows, & test cases to effectively lead a project. </li><li>Act as the main point of contact and build relationships with clients, in-house technology partners, operational areas, management and product development during the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) </li><li>Identify and communicate bespoke client requirements to work with internal business and IT partners to address </li><li>Facilitate client meetings including producing agendas, status reporting, and document next steps </li><li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously from beginning to end </li><li>Work closely with teams across the organization to ensure operational readiness. </li><li>Ensure all escalations are identified and communicated to management appropriately. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to own, lead and deliver multiple initiatives to improve the service delivery, efficiency and relationships. </li><li>An effective communicator and facilitator with strong analytical and presentation skills. </li><li>Results oriented, takes initiative to identify areas to add value and executes quickly and effectively. </li><li>Knowledge and demonstrated experience with project management tools, deliverables, and reporting. </li><li>Experience identifying key performance indicators, creating dashboards and developing project metrics. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft's suite of tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Power BI preferred. </li><li>Basic understanding of institutional investment industry, including markets, instruments, and transactional impact. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience executing complex initiatives in financial services. </li><li>Certification related to Project Management or Business Analysis preferred; PMP, IIBA, etc. </li><li>A college or university degree and /or relevant proven work experience is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$83,100 - 141,300 USD</p> <p>Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
