<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.</p> <p>This position is located in the Community Services Program of the Anderson-Oconee-Pickens Mental Health Center, 1 Linwa Boulevard, Anderson, SC 29621.</p> <p>As a Mental Health Professional I -</p> <p>Provides intensive case management services within the three-county catchment area to assist patients with obtaining and maintaining community tenure and appropriate housing. Will also perform duties as assigned in the Anderson County Dual Diagnosis Program.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>Agency Requirement: A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.</p> <p>Preferred: A master's degree in guidance, counseling or the social sciences and one (1) year post master degree experience which does not include internships.</p> <p>Additional Preferred: Work experience with the alcohol and drug population.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>The South Carolina Department of Mental Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity Agency.
