Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.</p> <p>The Raytheon Land & Air Defense Systems Finance team has an immediate opening for a Principal Program Cost Controls Specialist (Grade P3). This position will be supporting Operations. In this position, you will participate in the control of costs and schedules on contracts that utilize product based EVMS through APEX/SAP EV management reporting tools. You will be required to perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters. The program includes an efficient and effective team that relies on individual drive and integrity for success. It is expected that the candidate is capable of building business relationships, trust, and rapport with business contacts within not only the program, but also the product line and customer teams.</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work closely with various functional organizations during the EAC development process; as well as monitoring these organizations performance against agreed upon budgets</p> </li><li> <p>Providing support of month-end close financial planning activities,</p> </li><li> <p>Frequent interaction with various functions (Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations)</p> </li><li> <p>Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis of labor and material for current and future</p> </li><li> <p>Contractual and internal Earned Value Management reporting, including generation and analysis of monthly program metrics</p> </li><li> <p>Risk and opportunity valuation and impact on contract profitability</p> </li><li> <p>Processing budget change requests</p> </li><li> <p>Ad-hoc requests</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications You Must Have</p> <ul> <li> <p>Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic</p> </li><li> <p>Typically requires 5+ years professional Finance/Accounting work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years professional Finance/Accounting work experience</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Excel (i.e. pivot tables, advanced formulas).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in manufacturing/production based Operations/Supply Chain Finance</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications We Prefer</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in contractual EVMS reporting, working in APEX/PRISM EVMS systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in using SAP R/3 Business Systems (APEX, PRISM, Business Warehouse).</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of Accounting standards and practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong financial analytical skills as well as a fundamental understanding of functional roles and responsibilities in a production environment (touch labor, support labor, material).</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of program control responsibilities which include meeting internal requirements such as coordinating budgetary agreements, preparing EACs and monthly.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with project or task financial management and support including analyzing budgets, monitoring actual cost data, developing forecasts, and providing variance analysis.</p> </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. </li></ul> <p>The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.</p> <p>Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
