<p>Job Description</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Personal Banker I plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering strong customer relationships.</p> <p>As the first point of contact, this position is responsible for engaging in meaningful interactions and assisting customers with</p> <p>various banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments for both retail and business accounts.</p> <p>A key aspect of this role is conducting consultative conversations to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate</p> <p>banking products and services, such as checking and savings accounts, credit cards, loans, and digital banking solutions. Personal</p> <p>Bankers receive comprehensive training and resources to identify referral opportunities and enhance customer relationships.</p> <p>Participation in a retail training program will provide the necessary skills to confidently offer tailored financial solutions, ensuring</p> <p>a positive and personalized banking experience.</p> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <p>High school diploma/GED required.</p> <p>College degree or a minimum of six months customer service experience required.</p> <p>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to include professional grammar and demeanor.</p> <p>Ability to travel as needed to training.</p> <p>Candidates being considered will be subject to additional background checks as required by the Office of the Comptroller of the</p> <p>Currency.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>Process transactions through the teller equipment on all retail and corporate accounts, including, but not limited to,</p> <p>deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and cash advances.</p> <p>Demonstrate a consultative sales approach to building customer relationships by offering customers additional products</p> <p>and services (e.g., checking, savings, credit cards, loans, digital banking).</p> <p>Effectively utilize customer conversations and through lobby engagement while maintaining the highest level of</p> <p>professional integrity and ethics.</p> <p>Contribute to the growth and retention of deposit and loan customers. Initiate new customer relationships, through</p> <p>outbound calling efforts.</p> <p>Arithmetic skills to count money accurately.</p> <p>Computer literacy to access account information and process transactions.</p> <p>Develop a thorough knowledge of Bank products and guidelines by attending the required classes.</p> <p>Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.</p> <p>All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by</p> <p>understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar</p> <p>Bank's risk management program.
