<p>Summary of Position</p> <p>Teaches aviation ground classes on a part-time basis to prepare aspiring pilots for their FAA private, instrument, commercial and/or multi-engine certification exams. Teaches classes in aviation law and regulations. Teaching opportunities will be based upon need each semester.</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be remote or at various locations.</p> <p>Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:At least a bachelor's degree; three or more years of aviation industry experience. Certified as a Flight Instructor (CFI) or Advanced Ground Instructor to teach FAR Part 141 Ground School content at any of the following levels: Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and Multiengine. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:At least a master's from an accredited institution. Demonstrated ability to teach and develop aviation courses at the FAR Part 141 and undergraduate level.
