<p>Buyer/Expeditor</p> <p>Location: Lafayette, IN</p> <p>Position Type: Long term contract (12 months and could be extended)</p> <p>Pay: $26-$40/HR (depending on experience)</p> <p>This role involves assisting with sourcing, order tracking, supplier coordination, inventory support, and maintaining procurement documentation</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials and services for the project. </li><li>Track order statuses, expedite deliveries, and address delays as needed. </li><li>Work with suppliers to resolve mis-shipments or missing materials. </li><li>Maintain communication with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules. </li><li>Collaborate with project teams to ensure adequate inventory levels. </li><li>Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records in compliance with company policies. </li><li>Assist with administrative tasks and general team support. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business or supply chain is a plus. </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills. </li><li>Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. </li><li>Eagerness to learn and develop skills in procurement and supply chain management. </li></ul> <p>After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
