<p>Mays Chemical, a Ravago company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to work in the Indianapolis facility. The selected candidate will report to the Warehouse Manager.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Loading/unloading inbound and outbound trucks; verifying quantities and condition of products against packaging slips </li><li>Moving material to proper storage locations </li><li>Receiving products, preparing and filling orders accurately based on order specifications </li><li>Checking receipts against purchase orders for proper shipment, shortages, damages, or defects </li><li>Labeling products accurately for shipment </li><li>Selecting lots and quantities; selecting appropriate shipping containers and packaging materials </li><li>Completing all required paperwork </li><li>Restocking pick areas and repacking skids as needed </li><li>Practice the principles of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement under the GFSI guidelines </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Forklift experience required; including both sit-down, counterbalance, and Raymond Swing Reach </li><li>One (1) plus year(s) of experience operating standard manual and automatic packaging equipment, and warehouse operation functions such as cycle counting and RF Scanner use </li><li>Proficiency in basic computer skills required </li><li>One (1) plus year(s) of receiving and shipping experience in a chemical environment preferred </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Able to operate Raymond Swing Reach forklifts, slip sheet loaders, pallet inverters and drum snatchers </li><li>Able to lift 50 lbs. independently, and 100 lbs. with assistance </li><li>Able to work in both Shipping/Receiving and perform general maintenance to keep warehouse area clean, organized, and efficient </li><li>Able to follow instructions and work both collaboratively and independently </li><li>Strong attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency; maintaining a fast workflow while minimizing errors </li><li>Follow safety and quality control procedures to ensure product integrity </li><li>Comfortable with standing, walking, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift </li><li>Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team-oriented setting </li></ul> <p>IND3</p> <p>NOTICE TO APPLICANTS:</p> <p>Ravago Americas is an equal employment opportunity employer.
