<p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>The Life Enrichment (Activities) Associate Position assists the Life Enrichment Director in the delivery of recreational, evidence based programming to meet the needs of the residents in the community.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Helps in the analysis of the community's resident population </li><li>Helps with the writing of recreation program descriptions </li><li>Creates opportunities for residents to interact with the community at large through outside trips, volunteer programs, arts and entertainment programs. </li><li>Assess the effectiveness of programs through attendance sheets and surveys </li><li>Ensures residents get to the activity. </li><li>Responsibilities include customer service, safety, recreational activities and communication. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens. </li><li>Demonstrates effective time management skills. </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Associate degree in human service or recreation therapy preferred. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Previous experience working in a senior living setting a plus. </li><li>Ability to work effectively with small groups as leader or facilitator. </li><li>Valid state Driver's License or Chauffeur's license as required by property and/or state. </li><li>First Aid Certification desired. </li></ul> <p>Location Information</p> <p>Meadowood is a beautiful community in Bloomington, IN, with more than 195 units offering independent living.</p>
