Therefore, we invite and welcome applicants from traditionally underrepresented groups in healthcare - people of color, people with disabilities, LGBTQ community, and/or gender expansive, first and second-generation immigrants, veterans, and people from different socioeconomic backgrounds - to apply.</p> <ul> <li>Exciting Staff Nurse opportunity on Ellison 10, a 36-bed adult fast-paced Cardiac Medical Stepdown Unit! </li><li>This unit provides intermediate level care to patients who require cardiac monitoring for arrhythmias, unstable coronary syndromes, heart failure and other vascular diagnoses and medical disorders </li><li>Patients on this unit require coronary or peripheral procedures, diagnostic and interventional procedures that require expert and specialized cardiac care. </li><li>Patients who require electrophysiology and arrhythmia post procedural care may be admitted to the unit </li><li>Patients are admitted via the Emergency Department, ICU/CCU, procedural areas or are transferred from other New England Hospitals. </li><li>The unit provides personalized, high quality, patient-focused care in a supportive care delivery model. </li><li>The unit is the designated teaching floor to introduce the medical resident to the complexity of caring for cardiac patients </li><li>12 hour shifts and self-scheduling available </li><li>Opportunity to work on similar until ( Ellison 11 ) when staffing indicates </li></ul> <p>As Registered Nurses (RNs) at Massachusetts General Hospital, our every action is guided by knowledge, enabled by skill and motivated by compassion.
