This role requires a deep understanding of compensation principles, market trends, and regulatory requirements. The Compensation Manager will partner with HR and business leaders to ensure compensation programs attract, retain, and motivate top talent.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Compensation Program Design & Administration:</p> <ul> <li>Administer compensation programs, including base pay, incentive plans, and equity programs. </li><li>Conduct job evaluations and market analysis to determine appropriate salary ranges. </li><li>Develop and maintain salary structures and pay bands. </li><li>Ensure compensation programs are aligned with the company's overall business strategy and objectives. </li></ul> <p>Market Analysis & Benchmarking:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure compensation programs are competitive. </li><li>Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data. </li><li>Stay up-to-date on compensation trends and best practices. </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act). </li><li>Prepare and analyze compensation reports and metrics. </li><li>Manage audit requests related to compensation data. </li></ul> <p>Communication & Collaboration:</p> <ul> <li>Communicate compensation programs and policies to employees and managers. </li><li>Partner with HR and business leaders to provide compensation guidance and support. </li><li>Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Finance, Legal) on compensation-related initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Budget Management:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the compensation budget. </li><li>Forecast compensation expenses and ensure budget adherence. </li></ul> <p>System Management:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the administration and maintenance of compensation-related systems and software. </li><li>Ensure data integrity and accuracy within compensation systems. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. </li><li>5+ years of progressive experience in compensation management. </li><li>Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations. </li><li>Proven experience with job evaluation, market analysis, and salary survey participation. </li><li>Proficiency in HRIS systems and compensation software (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.). </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills. </li><li>Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Summary</p> <ul> <li> <p>High quality voluntary health, vision, disability, life, and dental insurance programs</p> </li><li> <p>401K Matching Plan</p> </li><li> <p>Employee Stock Purchase Plan</p> </li><li> <p>Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave</p> </li><li> <p>Corporate sponsored programs to enhance employee physical, financial, mental and emotional wellness</p> </li><li> <p>Financial Solution Program</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity:</p> <p>Goosehead is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, guidelines, and regulations.
