As LPN on this team, you will assist fellow LPNs, RNs and other healthcare staff in ensuring patients feel comfortable, safe and informed throughout their entire stay at Cleveland Clinic. While making a difference in their lives, you can also make a difference in yours by enhancing your skills through hands-on experiences and educational resources.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM - 4:30PM.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide patient care activities under the direction of an RN and/or Physician. </li><li>Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about patients. </li><li>Complete nursing assessments and report all data. </li><li>Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients' responses. </li><li>Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments. </li><li>Perform routine laboratory tests. </li><li>Educate patients and family members. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing </li><li>Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>One year of patient care experience </li><li>Experience with procedures </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
