And we're reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.</p> <p>Come join the Lockheed Martin Space Radio Frequency (RF) Talent Center (RFTC) team and shape the future!</p> <p>You can join our mission and contribute to challenging programs in support of Space Vehicles, Hypersonics, Human Space Flight and Interplanetary Missions, Missile Defense, and more.</p> <p>As a RF Engineer Prin within LM Space, you will perform the following:</p> <ul> <li>Support multiple phases of RF product lifecycle including design, development, test, and deployment </li><li>Engage with other leaders and Subject Matter Experts to participate in design reviews and provide feedback/input on RF systems and hardware designs </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and deployment of RF systems and hardware </li></ul> <p>Example assignments include Design, test, and troubleshoot RF hardware systems, including prototype and deliverable hardware.</p> <p>The selected candidate would have:</p> <ul> <li>Radar Systems Engineer with 15 to 20 years' experience leading teams in developing and implementing Radar Signal Processing algorithms </li><li>Significant experience in Radar Signal Processing Algorithm development and Radar Waveform design </li><li>Understanding of hardware trade-offs impacting Signal Processing algorithm development </li><li>Educational and professional experience in design of active and passive RF hardware, developing architectures trades, architecting RF hardware solutions, and using simulation tools to evaluate hardware designs. </li><li>Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. </li><li>US Citizen </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Vendor interface experience, including evaluating vendor solutions </li><li>Reivewing Vendor spec writing and procurement experience </li><li>Experience in testing implemented signal processing algorithms in both prototype and flight hardware </li><li>Laboratory skills in RF Hardare test, prototyping, characterization, familiarity with RF lab instruments (spectrum analyzer, synthesizer, network analyzer, power meter, etc) </li><li>RF design experience including knowledge of active RF hardware, microwave integrated circuit design and RF measurement techniques </li><li>Experience with RF parts selection and evaluation </li><li>RF prototyping experience </li><li>Ability to design and plan for designs to experience flight environments (vibration, temperature, multipaction, corona) </li><li>Experience in leading teams of 4 to 6 less experienced engineers desirable </li><li>Active Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required. </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to attain a DoD Top Secret Clearance </li><li>Familiarity with RF design and analysis software and tools </li><li>RF test and trouble shooting experience </li><li>Familiarity with RF test software and tools </li><li>Experience with designing RF active and passive electronics </li><li>Experience in providing test provision inputs to FPGA or ASIC engineers to support implementation validation activities </li><li>Experience in trading off Waveform design and Algorithm design for system implementation </li><li>Experience in developing algorithms and hardware for missile and/or space applications </li><li>Experience in EA/EP analysis of Radar Waveform designs and Signal Processing algorithms </li><li>Experience in adapting hardware implemented algorithms into Digital Signal Processing implementation </li><li>Previous experience with Altimeter or HOB sensor applications desirable </li><li>Experience in testing implemented signal processing algorithms in both prototype and flight hardware </li></ul> <p>Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.</p> <p>Clearance Level: Top Secret</p> <p>Other Important Information You Should Know</p> <p>Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
