Universal is committed to providing the best quality, delivery, and service possible.</p> <p>Finishing Crew Member II</p> <p>Wage: $19.50 then $20.00 at end of probationary period (with .50 cent shift differential for night shift)</p> <p>Day shift: 7am to 7pm or Night shift: 7pm to 7am 12-hour shifts - Steady days/nights</p> <p>Prior steel mill or industrial furnace experience</p> <p>Tow motor and crane experience</p> <p>Must be able to read a tape measurer</p> <p>Must have reliable transportation</p> <p>CNC, Lathe, Machine Operation, Saws or Inspection experience a plus!</p> <p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Assisting operators with creating steel ingots from scratch </li><li>Preparing raw materials for melting process </li><li>Helping with pouring & molding process </li><li>Organizing launders with overhead crane </li><li>Moves materials via tow motor or remove overhead crane. </li></ul> <p>Tools/equipment used: including but not limited to, IR Thermometer, calipers, measuring stick, tape measure, hot chalk, paint markers, go/no-go tools, TC load material and tools, label printers, stacker crane, forklift, furnace controllers.</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>12-hour shift - Days or Nights - 3 days/nights on/4 days/nights off </li><li>Friday, Saturday and Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday and Monday - Your choice </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school Diploma or equivalent (Required) </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Remote Crane: 1 year (Preferred) </li><li>Forklift: 1 year (Preferred) </li></ul> <p>Work Location: One location</p>
