<p>PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)</p> <ul> <li>Perform system and/or function checkouts of components (static checks, hydraulic function checks, flight control rigging, fuel system checks and oxygen, ect.) per appropriate approved maintenance procedures or FAA requirements. </li><li>Remove and replace components on the aircraft per appropriate approved maintenance procedures or FAA requirements. </li><li>Attention to the smallest detail or component and ensure every little part is inspected, installed and function test to approved procedures. </li><li>Complete assigned work, including troubleshooting and repairs of malfunctioning systems in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures within established schedule. </li><li>Accurately log on Labor Data Collection System for work orders and attendance tracking. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate </li><li>Able to read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts and schematics. </li><li>Understanding of airframe systems such as: basic electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, flight controls and engines. </li><li>Must have required tools. </li><li>Able to work on maintenance stands, extending to 25 feet </li><li>Able to work in confined spaces and in unusual positions </li><li>Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation </li><li>Must not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solvents. </li><li>Able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps/stairs with or without reasonable accommodation. </li><li>Occasional travel required </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Turbine jet aircraft training and experience - preferably on Falcon aircraft. </li><li>Experience using computers and aircraft diagnostic software. </li></ul>
