The Amex Ethics Office (AEO) furthers this responsibility by managing the Amex Ethics Hotline (Hotline), the company's official confidential whistleblower channel, where colleagues can raise concerns of violations of law, regulation, or company policy. The AEO ensures all concerns raised through the Hotline are referred to the appropriate internal team for review and investigation, as needed. The AEO is also responsible for the managing the company's Code of Conduct Disclosure Portal, where colleagues submit any activities that may pose a conflict of interest.</p> <p>The AEO sits in the General Counsel's Organization (GCO) and partners closely with the Global Litigation & Investigations Team, Employment Law Group, and Global Security. The AEO also partners closely with teams outside of the GCO including Colleague & Labor Relations, Conduct Risk Management, Global Risk & Compliance and Control Management teams.</p> <p>This role will report to the Amex Ethics Office Director in NY, and support all AEO workstreams, with a specific focus on reporting, project management and controls. This role requires an individual who is a strategic thinker and exhibits exceptional project management and communication skills, while also professionally and discreetly handling highly confidential and sensitive information. This individual will be responsible for preparing reporting and leading key strategic projects and partnering with various business teams to provide end-to-end subject matter and project management support.</p> <p>Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Support / lead transformational projects and other initiatives as required to continue enhancing the Amex Ethics Office. </li><li>Support in managing the Amex Ethics Hotline, Conflicts of Interest Disclosures, and Code of Conduct Policy & Training Refreshes. </li><li>Lead the AEO's Control Management responsibilities, including PRSA, GRM, and TLM oversight. </li><li>Support the AEO data and reporting workstream, including data pulls for audit, exam and business unit requests. </li><li>Prepare board and executive-level materials and other business unit/market level presentations. </li><li>Continue to foster strong working relationships and communication with key business partners and senior leaders. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of combined experience in Project Management, Management Consulting, Reporting and / or Internal Corporate Strategy. </li><li>Proven expertise in Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint and Excel) with the ability to leverage Microsoft PowerPoint to deliver executive-quality presentations. </li><li>Strong sense of integrity with ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain complete confidentiality. </li><li>Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal). </li><li>Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence peers and senior leaders. </li><li>Successful track record of working with cross-functional teams. </li><li>Highly motivated self-starter who can provide strategic thought leadership and lead multiple projects with limited guidance. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirement:</p> <p>Bachelors required</p> <ul> <li>J.D., MBA, or prior 3+ years of working experience at a consulting firm, Project Management Profession (PMP) certification, legal/ethics/compliance/audit degrees or certification or experience or equivalents preferred. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits</p> <p>The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
