<p>This full-time, 35-hour position is responsible for providing a wide range of specialized, professional support to the Dean, Chairpersons, and Directors in the School of Nursing and Wellness. The general purpose of this position is to manage internal and external assessment, accreditation, clinical compliance, and related reporting to satisfy national accreditation, state, University, clinical - and school-level reporting requirements. The position will lead SON efforts to collect, analyze, and learn from School, program, and course data in order to fulfill internal and external reporting requirements. The individual holding this position must be able to work independently, with a high degree of accuracy, and collaborate effectively as part of the School's Leadership team. Reports to the Dean.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <p>Assurance</p> <ul> <li>Attended university meetings for the School of Nursing & Wellness. </li><li>Maintain updated student, program, alumni and other lists, as needed. </li><li>Guide, instruct, and consult Nursing Department personnel and other strategic partners on data collection, analysis, visualization, and interpretation as needed. </li><li>Arrange student and faculty access to agency Electronic Medical Record and Learning Management Systems </li></ul> <p>Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Research and assist in completing quality assurance, accreditation, and clinical compliance reporting. </li><li>Data Collection and Monitoring: develop and maintain spreadsheets (e.g. job placements, enrollment, faculty load, etc.) for reporting. </li><li>Complete annual accreditation and regulatory surveys </li><li>Utilize AEFIS for semi-annual reporting procedures (student course evaluation, course and program assessment results, etc.). </li><li>Compile student placement reports to the clinical agencies </li><li>Gather, report and summarize course and program assessment results for annual internal and external assessment reporting requirements. </li><li>Retrieve and distribute a variety of student reports for each department and program multiple times per year. </li><li>Prepare a variety of correspondence, agenda, memorandum, reports and other materials. </li><li>Maintain detailed accounting of expenses, to allow Dean to present accurate forecasting of departmental budgets. w and management. </li></ul> <p>Student Support and Program Management:</p> <ul> <li>Registration and Advising. Coordinate with faculty, students and registrar to resolve issues arising from registration. Serve as the point person for all registration problems and proactively seek to resolve issues which eases the process for the students. </li><li>ATI program management. Serve as department point person for ATI billing and cohort roster management. </li><li>Pinning Ceremony. Plan, organize and execute required actions for the pinning ceremony held twice a year. </li><li>Coordinate and serve as departmental liaison with GCU admissions personnel. Organize and represent SON at events both on and off campus. Maintain and track reports of student applications. Organize "onboarding" of new students. </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li>Office support to School of Nursing and Wellness faculty and staff, as needed. </li><li>Maintain University SONW promotional content, including websites and departmental presentations. </li><li>Support for evening Nursing Town Hall meetings </li><li>Integrate the core values of respect, compassion, integrity, justice, and service in all aspects of interactions. </li><li>Attend relevant professional development as needed. </li><li>Maintain student and faculty files </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Student Recruitment</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and serve as departmental liaison with GCU admissions personnel to evaluate students who would be a good fit for the program and actively recruit applications to the nursing programs. </li><li>Organize and represent School of Nursing & Wellneses at events both on and off campus. </li><li>Maintain and track reports of student applications. Organize "onboarding" of new students. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Experience with outreach to students, faculty, and staff in an academic institution a plus. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in survey design and analysis. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in data management. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in spreadsheet development </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues and diverse populations. </li><li>Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills. </li><li>Experience in using relevant tools and software including Microsoft Office, survey tools, etc. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality </li></ul> <p>MUST BE US WORK AUTHORIZED</p>
