<p>PURPOSE OF POSITION:</p> <p>The primary purpose of the Staffing Specialist is to perform assigned duties in an efficient manner, in accordance with established procedures to assure that staffing and scheduling are maintained to improve workflow and reduce operational costs. In this position, the Staffing Specialist will handle a variety of clerical and administrative related duties within the Resource Office. The responsibilities include organizing files, prepare documents, maintain staffing and scheduling and support staff in all departments. The Staffing Specialist must provide professional, efficient, quality customer service at all times.</p> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Variable Day and Evening Shift including weekends </li><li>Subject to changes in working shifts. </li><li>Lunch periods and breaks must always be coordinated with other staff members to maintain adequate coverage. </li><li>Works in well lighted, ventilated areas. </li><li>Sits for most of the working day, although standing and occasional walking throughout the building and to adjoining buildings may be necessary. </li><li>Subject to frequent interruptions in completion of assignments. </li><li>Involved with personnel under various conditions and circumstances. </li><li>Subject to frequent changes in priority of duties throughout the day. </li><li>Works with highly confidential data and situations. </li><li>Works under pressure to meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school Diploma required. </li><li>Experience interacting with computers Uses various office production equipment including multi-line phone, copiers, fax machines, computers and printers to complete tasks. </li><li>Able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position and deadlines. </li><li>Attention to detail in completing work tasks. </li><li>Must function independently with flexibility, integrity, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently with all levels of personnel. </li><li>Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work in accordance with organizational position and necessity. </li><li>Must be able to prepare a variety of administrative reports, statements, and correspondence. Gathers data and other necessary information. </li><li>Must have exceptional interpersonal communication, confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy skills. Works well with all. </li><li>Consistently demonstrates cooperative attitude, respect, and ability to follow instructions </li><li>Displays professional manner and appearance. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>90% sitting, 10% standing and walking. </li><li>Lifting sometimes, up to 20 lbs. </li><li>Some bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching over the head, kneeling, and climbing stairs. </li></ul> <p>HAZARDOUS EXPOSURE CATEGORY:</p> <p>Category III - tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.</p>
