<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>This Product Owner position will work directly with leaders and stakeholders of the Merchants Mortgage Servicing, Capital Markets, and Shared Services teams to refine and implement technology solutions supporting strategic roadmap objectives. They will be focused on leading implementations and supporting what has been implemented using a comprehensive agile software delivery framework with their team and business partners.</p> <p>A successful Product Owner will plan, implement, and support strategic software and data solutions that deliver business results. They will also educate and champion software delivery and application management best practices within the organization.</p> <p>Join a team that genuinely wants the best technology experience for their stakeholders and make a positive business impact.</p> <p>After one year as our Product Owner, you will know you were successful if you are able to handle the following confidently and independently.</p> <ul> <li>Plan and lead implementation of complex projects from initiation through go live. </li><li>Partner with the Product Manager to refine initial analysis of strategic roadmap objectives into detailed, prioritized, and executable backlog of stories for the team to build, test and deliver. </li><li>Manage and prioritize a holistic product team backlog including: Strategic Business Goals; Maturing technology capabilities; Support, Scale and Continuous Improvement of existing solutions; Regulatory and Ad-hoc business needs </li><li>Help project delivery leadership to establish and coach business partners on software delivery and application management frameworks and best practices. </li><li>Establish a strong partnership with Product Manager and business unit leaders and understand strategy, product, process, and goals to ensure technology solutions align to business goals. </li><li>Provide input on strategic technology roadmap by maintaining a backlog of future value for your business partners. </li><li>Guide and assist internal and vendor development teams. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>What we are looking…</p> <ul> <li>5-8 years of experience leading complex, integrated software implementations across multiple business units/teams in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Project Manager capacity. </li><li>Experience with Analytics Solutions. </li><li>Strong background of leading teams towards common goal without direct management. </li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills required. </li><li>Experience operating and executing within delivery frameworks (Scrum, Waterfall, etc.). </li><li>Single Family Mortgage industry experience preferred. </li><li>Bachelor's degree required. </li></ul> <p>ABOUT MERCHANTS</p> <p>Merchants Bancorp is a diversified bank holding company headquartered in Carmel, Indiana operating multiple lines of business, including Federal Housing Administration ("FHA") multi-family housing and healthcare facility financing and servicing; mortgage warehouse financing; retail and correspondent residential mortgage banking; agricultural lending; and traditional community banking.
