<p>Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting audits, inspections, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and problem-solving within a manufacturing environment. You will also perform sampling and laboratory testing support when needed. Your role will involve ensuring quality on the manufacturing floor, guiding leads, and maintaining internal food safety programs. You will oversee the quality control of raw materials, labels, and finished products to guarantee compliance with food safety guidelines. Additionally, you will recommend CAPA for continuous improvement.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct audits and inspections within the manufacturing environment. </li><li>Perform CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and problem-solving tasks. </li><li>Provide sampling and laboratory testing support when necessary. </li><li>Ensure quality on the manufacturing floor and guide leads. </li><li>Maintain and ensure compliance with internal food safety programs. </li><li>Oversee quality control of raw materials, labels, and finished products. </li><li>Recommend CAPA for continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Food Engineering, Food Microbiology, or Nutrition Science. </li><li>1-3 years of internal audit experience. </li><li>1-3 years of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience in a food/flavor manufacturing environment. </li><li>Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>HACCP and SQF Certification preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>You will have your own cubicle in the office and on the manufacturing floor. The position reports to the Director of QA.
