All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any protected characteristics.</p> <p>What you will be doing:</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring prompt and accurate responses to the requests from the Government Agencies in support of the Business and Financial audits and reviews </li><li>Retrieve and reconcile supporting documentation to substantiate proposed or claimed costs on government contracts in an organized manner, maintaining support files </li><li>Ability to work with other departments with people with differing levels of experience and knowledge and communicate effectively </li><li>Liaising with the Government auditors to clarify requests and explain processes/supporting documentation </li><li>Participating in reviews of expenses for adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 31 for allowable cost determination </li><li>Performing SAP downloads; data mining, creating pivot tables and analyzing data to support government requests </li></ul> <p>Basic Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 3+ years of experience in an accounting, business or finance role OR; </li><li>A Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 1+ years of experience in an accounting, business or finance role OR; </li><li>A Master`s degree in Accounting, Finance OR; </li><li>A JD/PhD in an accounting, business or finance role OR; </li><li>In lieu of a degree, 5 years of experience in an accounting, business or finance role </li><li>In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>A fundamental understanding of accounting principles and processes and be familiar with audit testing and substantiation requirements </li><li>Prior exposure to Government Cost Principles and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) would be beneficial: FAR; DFARS and CAS </li><li>Advanced Microsoft Excel experience </li><li>SAP experience </li></ul> <p>What we offer:</p> <p>We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary, and exceptional benefits.
