<p>WSP is currently initiating a search for an HR Leaves Administration Specialist. This position can be based out of the following WSP USA regional offices: Ephrata, PA, New York, NY, Morristown, NJ and Boise, ID. Other locations may be considered.</p> <p>The Leaves Administration Specialist will coordinate and support the administration and day-to-day activities of all WSP's leave of absence programs in conjunction with federal, state, and local leave laws, and take part in various improvements of these programs to ensure a well-coordinated employee experience. This role involves close collaboration with the Total Rewards, vendors, and overall HR team with direct interaction in an employee-facing capacity.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Primary contact for employees, HR Business Partners, managers, and third-party vendor on all leave policies and procedures, including but not limited to: Disability, FMLA, Personal Leave, Military Leave, Furlough. </li><li>Collaborate with Total Rewards team to coordinate and support day-to-day leaves of absence administration for US employees. </li><li>Serve as the subject matter expert for the leave of absence programs in alignment and under the general direction and guidance of the Total Rewards leadership team. </li><li>Interpret and administer company leave programs and policies in accordance with the applicable federal, state and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, etc.) </li><li>Partner with third-party vendors to process employee requests for leave, applicable benefits, and resolve routine claims issues. Process full cycle leaves from the employees' initial notice of the need for leave to a return to work. </li><li>Improve and maintain the leaves policies, procedures, and documentation. </li><li>Identify gaps and inefficiencies and assist in developing and implementing improvements. </li><li>Communicate with employees, managers, and the HR Team and provide accurate information related to absences, requirements, and return-to-work dates; maintain appropriate contact with employees on leave and coordinate all aspects of return to work for employees out on leave. </li><li>Track all aspects of absence management, including leave hours and working status, to ensure the accuracy of employee records. Track leave of absence activities internally and with the vendor, collaborating with the employee, manager, and HR Business Partner as necessary. </li><li>Coordinate the return-to-work, including accommodation requests and leave expirations. </li><li>Provide outstanding service to all employees courteously and promptly; foster teamwork; and practice fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. </li><li>Maintain related systems, tracking data and reports on leave of absence metrics and trends. Present reports as requested. </li><li>Assist with Benefits Administration as needed. </li><li>Responsible for various projects as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma </li><li>7+ years of experience </li><li>Must have excellent organizational and communication skills and working knowledge of various HR concepts, practices and regulations, particularly those related to Leave of Absence plans. </li><li>Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion. </li><li>Proficiency using standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. PowerPoint is a plus. </li><li>Ability to interact with all levels of employees in the organization. </li><li>Ability to utilize the HRIS system to obtain data for analysis . </li><li>Must be self-directed and able to work independently and collaboratively with the HR Team and others both within and outside the organization. </li><li>Ability to prioritize. </li><li>Strong attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to spot issues, analyze, gather, and summarize data. </li><li>Knowledge of internal systems and processes. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience </li></ul> <p>WSP Benefits:</p> <p>WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.</p> <p>#LI-AB3</p>
