This position is responsible for implementing and overseeing safety programs that adhere to industry standards and regulations. The QMA will conduct regular site safety assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Additionally, this role involves training staff on safety protocols and ergonomics to promote a safe working environment. Ultimately, the QMA's efforts contribute to a culture of safety that enhances the quality of care provided to residents.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. </li><li>Develop and implement safety training programs for staff members. </li><li>Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make necessary adjustments. </li><li>Collaborate with management to create a comprehensive safety management plan. </li><li>Provide guidance on ergonomic practices to minimize workplace injuries. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Certification in Safety Management or a related field. </li><li>Proven experience in industrial safety and ergonomics. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in a healthcare environment. </li><li>Additional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>The required skills in ergonomics and safety management are essential for identifying and mitigating risks in the workplace. Daily, the QMA will apply their knowledge of safety programs to develop training materials and conduct workshops for staff.
