<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS 40% FE 60% BE (Java, Spring boot, Angular) in Merrimack, NY.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Work with product owners and business analysts to understand the business and technical requirements </li><li>Define the system requirements and technical design for specific components within a release </li><li>Active hands-on role in design and development for Java based REST services </li><li>Active hands-on role in design and development for either user interface (Angular or C#/.Net;) or Scala/AKKA based middle tier services </li><li>Collaborate with Architecture, Data Services, and other Technology Teams </li><li>Coordinate and deploy product releases </li><li>Be part of an on-call rotation to provide Level 3 production support for our applications </li><li>Develop, document, and communicate design artifacts within the team </li><li>Maintain trusted relationships with business partners* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or similar </li><li>10+ years of experience </li><li>A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle process, preference is with Scrum/Agile </li></ul> <p>You have strong technical and programming skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience and knowledge of Java (server-side) object-oriented programming skills </li><li>Experience and knowledge of User Interface programming skills such as Angular, C#/.Net is a plus </li><li>Familiarity with functional programming skills (preferably Scala) is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Kafka, Tibco EMS or JMS is a plus </li><li>Knowledge of SQL development </li><li>Able to be highly productive in an agile project delivery environment </li><li>A fast learner and an excellent teammate </li><li>You can efficiently work on a small development team, as well as lead in-depth technical designs </li><li>You are self-motivated, guided, and have a strong customer focus and results oriented approach </li><li>You have strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully engage with the technical team </li></ul>
