<p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Valid teaching certificate </li><li>Proper endorsements as required </li><li>Moderate/Intensive endorsement required </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO:</p> <ul> <li>Building Principal </li></ul> <p>DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Implements programs of study </li><li>Identifies appropriate interventions for students </li><li>Develops appropriate and compliant IEP's and ETR's </li><li>Provides special education supports and services along the full continuum of service delivery options </li><li>Fosters an inclusive classroom climate conducive to learning that is consistent with both the District and Schools mission </li><li>Utilizes instructional and behavioral management systems that increase student learning </li><li>Monitors student progress toward mastery of instructional goals and objectives </li><li>Communicates effectively within the educational community and with parents on a regular basis </li><li>Meets professional responsibilities </li><li>Demonstrates competency in the knowledge and implementation of technology standards </li><li>Demonstrates accurate and current knowledge in subject area </li><li>Differentiates instruction to augment achievement of all students </li><li>Uses content scope and sequence in planning </li><li>Follows established discipline procedures </li><li>Encourages students' attendance </li><li>Sets high positive expectations for the performance of all students </li><li>Implements concepts of PBIS consistently and with fidelity </li><li>Prepares and implements lesson plans to teach instructional objectives </li><li>Follows grading policies and procedures, maintains accurate and complete student records </li><li>Follows confidentiality procedures regarding students, parents/guardians, and fellow staff members </li><li>Adheres to established federal, state, District and Board laws, policies, rules, and regulations </li></ul> <p>This list is representative of a teacher's duties/ responsibilities and may not contain all requirements.</p> <p>CONTRACT DAYS: 184 days</p> <p>Salary: In accordance with established salary schedule</p>
