<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Guest Experience Intern will be responsible for day-to-day operational support at the Hall of Fame Village, a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW).? This candidate will play a critical role in creating positive and impactful experiences for our visitors. They'll be responsible for helping to manage daily operations, providing superior customer service, and ensuring that every guest interaction is memorable.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be someone who can think on their feet, solve problems creatively, and lead by example with a positive and uplifting attitude.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff. </li><li>Interact with guests to ensure their visit is seamless, memorable, and fun. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. </li><li>Assist with new event staff onboarding and training. </li><li>Help support and motivate the guest experience team by providing direction, encouragement, and guidance in a positive, collaborative manner. Included but not limited to clocking in/out, meal periods, assignment placing, and coaching. </li><li>Assist with Campus Tour Program. </li><li>Administrative support to operations team typing, maintaining calendars, checklists, etc. </li><li>Assist with event set-up and break down of assigned private and major events. </li><li>Assist with stadium, sporting events, and activations within HOFV campus. This includes overseeing guest experience and event staff ensuring consistency across all areas. </li><li>Assist collecting, creating, and distributing event sheets for all large events on campus. </li><li>Work as needed for events in flexible roles such as usher, security, parking, guest services, and more. </li><li>Communicate efficiently with different team members and departments to ensure efficiencies across campus and facilities. </li><li>Collect and analyze guest feedback to help enhance future guest experience initiatives. </li><li>Follow organizational processes and procedures to ensure compliance of working for a publicly traded company. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>PART TIME/HOURLY/NON-EXEMPT</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in events, operations, or hospitality desired. </li><li>Positive and friendly attitude and persona, as this position is front facing and works closely with the public. </li><li>Ability to handle challenging situations with tact, empathy, and professionalism. </li><li>Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment; must possess a strong ability for effective management and task prioritization. </li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary) is required. </li><li>Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and entire organization. </li><li>Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements for Position:</p> <ul> <li>The ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly. </li><li>The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside. </li><li>The ability to work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operate phones, computers, copiers/scanners, and other office equipment. </li><li>The ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones. </li><li>The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations. </li><li>The ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, stoop, twist, walk, and complete repetitive hand and write motions for periods of time as required for the position. </li><li>This position spends a lot of their time on their feet, standing and walking. </li><li>Must be able to hear, see, and speak. </li><li>Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information. </li><li>Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties. </li><li>Must be available to work in Canton, Ohio. </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>$12.00/hour</p>
