<p>B & H</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Job Title:</p> <p>Material Handler 3</p> <p>Division/Department:</p> <p>Fulfillment</p> <p>Reports to:</p> <p>Approved By:</p> <p>Viewed By:</p> <p>Human Resources- NJF</p> <p>Last Reviewed:</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>Experienced Material Handler 3 are responsible for moving, picking, storing, scanning, counting, and preparing merchandise for shipment while operating heavy machinery with precision, using an Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-down Forklift.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operate an Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-down Forklift to move pallets and put away items in assigned warehouse locations. </li><li>Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents </li><li>Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes </li><li>Stock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process </li><li>Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer's orders </li><li>Unpack boxes following standard procedures </li></ul> <p>Additional Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>As assigned by the manager </li></ul> <p>Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance </li><li>Extended periods of standing/walking (10+ hours/day) </li><li>Attention to detail and ability to count </li><li>Must be able to locate and identify specific items </li><li>Must be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system </li><li>Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures </li><li>Must have at least 1 years of Sit-down Forklift experience </li><li>Must have at least 1 years of Electric Pallet Jack experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 6 months experience in a Warehouse </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance. </li><li>Extended periods of standing/walking </li></ul> <p>Required Schedule:</p> <p>Sunday 9:00AM-6:00PM & Monday-Thursday 3:45PM - 11:45PM</p> <p>Eligibility contingent upon background screening</p>
