North and South 8 have telemetry capabilities for our patients. Kelemen 8 has frequent admissions and discharges.</p> <p>Kelemen 8 can accept a total of 77 patients. The North side houses 37 patients, and the South side houses 36 patients. There are two negative pressure rooms with an anti-room.</p> <p>There is a pharmacist present on the unit to assist the RNs with medication questions/concerns. Multidisciplinary rounds occur every Monday through Friday. Rounds involve all aspects of the healthcare team, including the patient and family.</p> <p>Short Description</p> <p>The Clinical Nurse Manager will provide the knowledge, skill, and expertise necessary to successfully support the day to day operations of the clinical unit.</p> <p>The Clinical Nurse Manager will be responsible to:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee assignments. </li><li>Assist in quality and throughput goals. </li><li>Support staff engagement by serving the unit in a consistent, supportive, and compassionate manner. </li><li>Role model/mentor clinical staff to address patient needs effectively. </li><li>Supports quality patient care and organizational priorities at the direction of the Clinical Director. </li><li>Identify and support the elements of improved care quality care using HRO principles. </li></ul> <p>Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting. </li><li>1 year of demonstrated leadership abilities. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Graduate from an NLN accredited school of nursing. </li><li>Bachelor's in Nursing Required, Masters preferred or in progress within 6-12 months of hire </li></ul> <p>License/Certification Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); </li><li>Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); </li><li>Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e., ACLS, NALS, PALS) </li></ul>
